I started writing back in October of 2016. It wasn't long after I shared a song on social media that a buddy offered to engineer the project. March of 2017 we set up a studio in my front living room and recorded Go On Your Way Free. This song became the featured track for the EP. On April 2nd 107.7 FM Alternative Buffalo aired the song. The heart behind this song is devastation between two people, who then later bump into each other but with a purpose, to offer forgiveness. Will that person forgive the other? Find out by listening to track 1. Terra's Song was written for my wife. Beautiful physical traits compared to nature compliments outer and inner beauty ending in a sense of hope and love. Time to break away was written about an internal battle of desire. Using the visual illustration of a shadow, feeling trapped the only way out is to run into the light. Nostalgia meaning deep thought or reflective contemplation was written for my dad Robert Perry. He passed on in 2006 and this song's purpose is to instill the mind to reflect on physical attributes, conversations, moments, and the simple fact that he was my dad. This song was a way to honor him and offer comfort to others who may have lost a loved one. Thanks for taking the time to get to know the songs and get more information about Beyond The Walls.
